Chairman’s Message
Dear Fellow Exporters,
Your Council is on a determined journey of growth in all aspects. With focus on the goal of
'Teen Guna Tees Tak-Enhancing the Volume of Exports', we as a sector, have embarked on
a journey of strategic transformation that empowers us to bring out the best of our
potential and be better prepared for the future. More and more of our exporters - big and
small, will deliver products that fulfil requirements of scale with quality, while maintaining
the speed and consistency with which such deliveries are made.
We plan on achieving this by enhancing capabilities and ensuring strict adherence to
global compliances. EPCH has various initiatives in place, like sustainability, design,
packaging etc. and seminars as well as workshops on these topics with eminent industry
experts are already being conducted.
Our international participations are avenues to project our strengths & capabilities. Our
contingents have recently returned from Who's Next, Paris, France; Autumn Fair
International, Birmingham, UK; and China International Furniture Expo, Shanghai, China. I
hope our member exporters continue to use such opportunities and seek markets for
their products towards our collective goal of enhancing exports.
While the world largely is hit by geo-political and economic unrest, India is relatively much
stable; economically, socially as well as politically. Though globally, sourcing or non-essential
imports may diminish as such, our Bharat will remain the safe and preferred sourcing
destination for buyers. This is the time we must work to give solidity to our overseas
business relationships.
Your valuable suggestions are welcome at chairman@epch.com.
(Dileep Baid)
Chairman, EPCH
