Chairman’s Message

Dear Fellow Exporters,

With the success of this IHGF Delhi Fair, we must together keep up the spirit and momentum
to capture business while the world is looking up to India as the preferred and reliable
sourcing partner. I hope fellow members will make the most of the opportunities offered
at the 2024 edition, due early next year. Let us all, unitedly as a sector strive to bring out
our utmost potential to achieve our goals for the next show.

Your Council is steadfast in helping you shape your business through insights for better
product propositions, effective brand building and expanding market reach. Our ongoing
journey of strategic growth and transformation with focus on ‘Teen Guna Tees Tak’ is on
momentum. Our initiatives towards sustainability, responsible value chains, skill
development, design interventions/trend directions, packaging, self-sufficiency, etc. are in
place. In line, seminars, skill development and training programs are being organised in
various clusters, in preparation of the upcoming seasons.

Our international participations are avenues to project our strengths & capabilities. Our
contingent has recently returned from the Hong Kong Mega Show and we are geared up
for Heimtextil and Ambiente, Frankfurt, Germany. I hope our member exporters continue
to use such opportunities and seek markets for their products towards our collective goal
of enhancing exports.
